Kailash Boutique Hotel

Great location, great staff who were really helpful, constant security throughout the day which is great. Everything you could want in a stay in Kathmandu, no brainer of a choice especially at the price point

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Thamel! The service was at the highest level throughout our trip. The rooms and bed linen were perfectly clean, and regular cleaning was done thoroughly every day. The breakfast was excellent with great choices. The staff were amazingly welcoming, friendly, and always attentive. They responded promptly to all our requests and organized a smooth, comfortable transfer to Pokhara for us. Everything was handled professionally and with sincere care. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu!

"Wonderful stay! The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The manager even kindly packed us breakfast for our domestic flight to Lukla, which was incredibly smart because we experienced long delays. Great location close to everything. Would definitely stay here again!"

Some hotels offer you a room. Some offer you comfort. But a rare few offer you something far more precious — a feeling of belonging. Hotel Kailash is one of those rare gems! Having travelled extensively and stayed in numerous hotels, I can confidently say that Hotel Kailash has earned a very special place in my heart. From the moment I arrived until the moment I departed, the experience was nothing short of exceptional! 🌟 CLEANLINESS — 10/10: Absolutely impeccable! Every corner reflected meticulous attention to hygiene and housekeeping. The cleanliness standards were simply outstanding. 🚿 BATHROOMS — 10/10: Beautifully maintained, sparkling clean, with excellent water pressure and everything functioning perfectly. A refreshing change from the shortcomings one occasionally encounters even in expensive hotels! 🛏️ LINEN & HOUSEKEEPING — 10/10: Spotless, fresh, crisp linen that made every night's rest a pleasure. The attention to detail was remarkable. 🍽️ FOOD — 10/10: Excellent quality, delicious preparations and a dining experience that left us thoroughly satisfied. Full marks to the kitchen team! ❤️ STAFF & HOSPITALITY — 11/10! Yes, you read that correctly — ELEVEN OUT OF TEN! This is where Hotel Kailash truly distinguishes itself. The staff didn't merely serve me. They embraced me with the warmth, affection and sincerity of my own family. Their smiles were infectious, their courtesy genuine and their willingness to help extraordinary. Whatever I requested was attended to promptly, cheerfully and without the slightest hesitation. Not once did I feel like a customer dealing with hotel employees. I felt like a family member being looked after by his own people. They left no stone unturned to make me comfortable. And that, to me, is the highest form of hospitality. 📍 LOCATION — 9/10: Very convenient and an excellent base for exploring Kathmandu and its surroundings. MY ONLY REGRET?
