Clean place … fast response would stay again

Great home! Great price! Great location!

We liked the property. It would have gotten 5 stars with these few minimal improvements 1- The windows and doors (4) that look directly into the kitchen and living room have no window coverings . This is in a busy area so it's definitely needed. 2- There should be a location in the shower for soap and shampoo , not a pint container filled w/ various soaps from the past 4 guests. A bar of soap and a travel size shampoo would be nice as well3- As with most rental situations there's a Keurig type coffee maker, surprisingly we found no coffee .

The house was clean and uncluttered and aesthetically pleasing. It's in a great location for getting around Belmont, particularly the Abbey. We got in late, however, so it was difficult to find the property: an illuminated sign with the street address would have been most helpful. When we entered the house at 10pm , it was 85 degrees b/c the a/c was off so it took several hours for it to cool down. Also, there were no batteries in the remote for one of the bedroom fan. We ended up snagging some out of another remote to get that going, but with only one set of batteries, there was always a fan that could not be adjusted. This is a "bring your own shampoo, etc." kind of place, so be prepared for that. There are towels and washcloths, but no hand towels for after washing your hands in the bathroom. You won't find much in the way of comforts from home, except mustard and ketchup, BUT the ice maker in the fridge works very well!The most disappointing thing, however was the lack of coffee making abilities. There was ground coffee and a Keurig machine but no K-cups (even reusable) to put in the Keurig machine, so there was no coffee making to be had. We have stayed at other homes that have felt very hospitable and ALL of them have had a coffee bar, making the mornings at a strange abode seem much more homey. If this place had that, it would be a great improvement. On a happy note, we discovered that there are great coffee places on Main Street, Belmont.
