Clean home with lots of amenities in a great location/neighborhood.

We arrived at Derby Down, Sneads Ferry no knowing if the house was anything like we imagined. It was adorable on the outside, like its own private paradise. It did take a bit to get use to the bedrooms at the entry level but we liked having that floor for us and the top floor for our marine grandson. We wanted a place to be able to spend time and this home was perfect. We enjoyed meeting the neighbors. They gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant. Sneads Ferry and local area has wonderful places to see and things to do. My grandson and I made many trips up and down the spiral staircase. The biggest fun was having our own personal elevator. As a disabled veteran, the elevator was perfect! The house was well stocked with most everything a person would need for a wonderful vacation. We had the best time! Thanks for opening your home..

We came down to have Easter dinner with my son. The house was perfect for all our needs. Everyone was quite comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked.

The landscape of this home helped make the inside and accommodations more enjoyable. We knew the home was unique but until you get there you don’t realize the extreme uniqueness. Designed to be like a lighthouse is the assumption with the three levels and mid spiral stairs. We were aware of the only living area with tv being on third floor where setup mostly for kiddos with just futon and That was fine for the purpose of this trip. Would have made it much more enjoyable to have a tv to watch news or have on main floor for adults as no Place comfortable for the whole family to chill out together. Sitting at a dining table and winged back chairs had to satisfy. We weren’t aware the main bedroom options where on the first floor sharing a bathroom just off of the front door. To get to kitchen you have to go up spiral or elevator. First floors two bedrooms and bath, main floor open kitchen and dining with three chairs and and a sunroom and third floor kids room/ twin beds tv futon all with a spiral staircase bottom to top. You enter the home on the bottom where the bedrooms are and then traverse up to main area. The home was unique as anticipated and the beautiful landscaping was peaceful. The outdoor shower concept neat and unique as well. Home is in a residential neighborhood with nice homes. The home itself was subpar clean which made the stay not as enjoyable as desired. Deep cleaning overdue!! The owner was extremely responsive when stressed.

...Including my husband, my brother from Charlotte & my son, the Marine. We also had 2 of his Marine buddies for dinner as well. We all enjoyed your home immensely. There was plenty of room to accommodate everyone for dinner. The kitchen was well stocked. The spiral staircase very cool but the elevator came in handy with a lot of our gear/food. Nice house, very clean and lots of room. Only issue I had was very limited group seating within the house. Lots of small locations for small groups, but nowhere for everyone to hang out together. Also, the main living room, only had a few chairs to sit in. Only TV was in the 3rd floor bedroom, not that I normally watch much TV on trips, everyone wanted to see the Tennessee game.

Great place, very clean would definitely recommend for a place not too far from staying away from the houses right on the beach...

The place was very clean and there was room for 4 adults and 3 children with each of us having our own beds. The neighbor hood was very nice and you felt comfortable jogging or walking around it. Great place and I highly recomend.
