We travel a lot and stay at many places. It was refreshing to have all the accurate amenities and comfort. Everything was great and greatly appreciated.

Was not able to enjoy the cabin although the beds were very comfortable & the shower had nice pressure. Very spacious & loved that my friend had the upstairs so I had my rest time after a long stressful journey. Missed the sunset at 4:30 although was informed by neighbors it's a site to see! Close to Charlotte, pretty much a straight shot. Nice neighborhood. Nice neighbors! Mike was awesome!! Will rent with him again if the need arises. Was there for grandblessing birthday at American Girl which is a nice & clean mall.

Great, quiet location close to Charlotte without being in the city (although the sounds of I-85 and airport traffic remind you of the nearness of Charlotte)! The house is nicely laid out, decorated, and stocked with all we needed making our stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

Clean facilities with very comfortable beds (we're kind of picky about the beds.) There were several fun games for the kids (ages 10 &12), as well as relaxing areas for the adults. Our 10 yr old boy liked that he caught several fish! (Bring your own pole though.) We used the kayaks which were equipped with life vests, and the fire pit. We liked the convenience to downtown Belmont for store runs. Lots of deer tracks by the water, but we didn't see any deer. There is no dining table per se, but there is a 2 person breakfast bar, TV trays, and an outdoor table which suited us fine. Laundry facilities on site were useful too. Great value! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We come to visit my son in Charlotte every year. We have stayed at many different VRBO locations over the years, and this was one is one of the nicest! Very clean and is well stocked. The house has a nice decor and comfortable cozy feeling to it. The owner even included chocolates and k-cup pods to make you feel at home! It is very relaxing place. We enjoyed the deck off the upstairs bedroom to sit and listen to the birds and watch the squirrels. We spent time by the river just enjoying the view. We ate at 2 very nice places in Belmont which is close by at Nellie's and Jekyll and Hyde. Nellies an upscale comfort food restaurant. Jekyll and Hyde a restaurant/bar with a steam punk vibe and their own brewery. We spent another day in Charlotte which is very close as well. You can't go wrong on this one! Thanks for offering such an enjoyable place to stay!

Just me and my wife for a couple of days at the lake. Great place to just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Landscaping was great. Even got visitor from a lake friend, a large turtle 🐢. Made sure it made it back to the lake. At night you can hear owls. Looking forward to another trip in the future 😀. Nice quiet place close to town!

Our family really enjoyed staying at the harbor cottage. The views and the property are excellent!! The cottage has two decks that can be used for dining or just relaxing with a glass of wine and a river view. If you feel like kayaking on the river, you have kayaks at your disposal. You want to spend romantic evening by the fire, you got it. You want to impress your friends and grill some tasty food, you got it. If you forgot to bring utencils or spices, Mike has it covered too. Coffee and tea and even cold beer in the fridge, he's got that covered. Thank you Mike for making our stay so good.

What a wonderful little spot. Even though the cottage is in a neighborhood, the only house visible is the main house. It's as if you are in the middle of nowhere. So many little niceties, too. Games, great TV entertainment for rainy days and nights, super comfy beds, perfect layout for gatherings in the living room, first floor bedroom for someone who can't do steps well, upper level deck off the bedroom, great shampoo and conditioner. I could go on and on but you get my drift.

We had a wonderful stay at this riverfront location! We enjoyed the outdoor activities on the property- the campfire, kayaks, small island access with a beautiful sunset of the river! Our host Mike made sure our stay was perfect! Communication was great! Highly recommend!

We loved the location of the cottage. It was close to everything we wanted to do, but also had a ton of privacy! Everything was very clean and updated and all the beds were comfy! We would 100% stay here again!

Myself, my husband, our seven-year-old, two-year-old, seven month old, and one-year-old golden Ridge River all went for a visit at this beautiful property. What I was most impressed about was how it was able to accommodate people with varying ages. The amenities were great, it was in close proximity to all of the amazing locations, being right on the lake was extremely beautiful, amazing fire pit to roast marshmallows and hotdogs, incredibly comfortable beds, and overall a great experience. The owner was very responsive to our needs and I would highly recommend anyone to go here!

Memory foam beds, fluffy towels, Keurigs upstairs and downstairs, AND a small disc golf course. We came to Charlotte to play disc golf. We didn’t even have time to build a fire in the fire pit or take the kayaks out. There is even a lovely little private island with a bench to look out at the river. Everything was amazing!
