MBAR HOSTEL HAAD RIN

Both the staff and host are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Its located in the heart of Haad Rin with a quick walk to the beach, a gym, a kitchen and an amazing chill area for slower days. Ive prolonged by stay multiple times and can only recommend MBAR to everyone staying on Koh Phangan!

Es ist dort wie eine Familie. Der Besitzer und das Personal sind herzensgute Menschen und sie kümmern sich sehr gut um jeden einzelnen Gast in dem Hostel. Es gibt viele Angebote, perfekt zum sozialisieren. Die Lage ist optimal, vorallem für die Full Moon Party. Es was durchgehend sehr sauber und es wurde jeden Tag geputzt. Außerdem gibt es zwei tolle Hostelhunde. Ich hatte dort meine beste Hostelerfahrung und ich empfehle jedem der nach Koh phangan geht in dieses Hostel zu gehen!!!!

Personal war super freundlich. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und es gab richtige Decken. Selbst oben schlafen ist sehr komfortabel, da es eine Treppe gibt. Das Hostel ist sehr sozial. Es gibt eine chilllounge, billiard, Konsole, Beerpong und sogar das Personal spielt mit dir, wenn du das möchtest. Kam sehr schnell mit anderen Reisenden in Kontakt und hatte eine tolle Zeit.

Lovely staff - the young lady that cleaned the hostel was so welcoming and nice, she made us feel at home! The staff would constantly bring you cool water and were always up for having a conversation. Very welcoming on arrival, they offered us towels for the beach before check in, and if we wanted new ones during our stay just to ask. Huge pro having normal towels and beach towels! The 8 bed room was comfortable. Very good location! For the price it was a perfect location very close to the beaches.

Unfortunately we got unlucky with the people in our room. They were very loud and pretty smelly…I know this can’t be helped but if you prefer being in an environment with less people I would book one of the smaller rooms. Our regret was listening to the reviews about the comfort of the beds in the 8 bed being better, but this came at the cost of a large group of men in the 8 bed being very loud at all hours. The bathroom had a bad smell, I think it’s the drains . Perhaps these could be deep cleaned I know it’s difficult with it being an island.
