The cottage was in very good condition and everything was clean and tidy on arrival. It was well positioned for walks from the cottage itself and just a short drive from Newquay and other places we like to visit.
Only one very minor point - the property could have done with a toilet brush!

Location was very good, only that there were so many roads closed due to welsh water working on them! The bungalow was beautiful and everything provided in the kitchen. The garden was exceptional. Big space for our dogs to play in and secure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in August 2025. We particularly liked the location of the cottage - close enough to easily access the amenities of New Quay but far enough away to be away from the hubbub. Also loved the fact that we could walk into lovely countryside and onto the coastal path direct from the property. We took our dog with us and it was great to have a secure, private garden to let him run in. We thought the cottage was nicely furnished and well presented.
There was a damp smell in the cottage, particularly in the living room and hallway and we found our things becoming damp. We self catered 50% of the time and would have appreciated a few more drinking glasses and crockery items for our meals & drinks, but not a biggy. Ditto, we would have appreciated a toilet brush in the bathroom to keep the loo clean (we ended up buying one ourselves!) The main bedroom was on the small side, so OK, but space was a bit tight around the bed!
