Nice comfortable place to stay in a good location near the city center. Less than 10 minutes walk from the bus terminal. The house is fully self serviced so when you arrive there will be a room with your name on it and you can choose an available bed. The kitchen is fully furnished so it is possible to cook and there are a couple places to get groceries nearby. To walk to the waterfront area where you would have a lot of restaurants, coffee shops etc is maybe a 15 minute walk. The host left a guidebook in the room that was really useful with info on tours to pulpit rock and some nice suggestions for restaurants.

The bed was very squeaky. I am a bit of a light sleeper so without the ear plugs that were provided by the host I would probably wake up every time I turned.

Location great. Facilities great. Hosts great. They even provide earplugs because somebody in a dorm room is probably snoring.

Given the limitations of the building, this was as good as it could get.

Great location and very clean

I’m not usually one to write reviews at all but I did so here as the staff were very uptight and controlling. Posters saying what we should and shouldn’t do were plastered all over the walls which was irritating. The «rules» went from being understandable, such as «no alcohol consumption on the property» to «keep the room temperature between 18 and 22 degrees at all times » and photo instructions of how to make our beds and wash the dishes. I understand that the owners want the hostel to remain clean but they should treat their guests with respect.
