Our family just spent nine days at the Regal and we had a wonderful vacation. The property was just as listed with a few positive changes by the new owners (king beds). They also let us know they had updated the photos and we saw that two new homes were recently completed on either side. We were glad we knew in advance of our arrival. Also added photos of the second family room downstairs we didn’t realize were there. The grounds are mature, pretty and well maintained. We started our house search looking for a house with a beach for our little ones and they really enjoyed it. The view is spectacular and this part of the lake is more on the quiet side. The house is very comfortable with plenty of space for seating and sleeping and playing. The primary bedroom is huge and one of my kids joked that "there was no reason to ever leave it.” The kitchen is by far the best equipped kitchen we have ever had in a rental. The pontoon boat docked at the boathouse is available to rent. After our trip I know boating is essential to the lake experience. We worked with Zack who was terrific and we highly recommend using him. They have installed a mosquito spray system on the deck. We got sprayed one night so we set an alarm on our watches for 9pm as a reminder.Food Lion is only 10 minutes away. The owner/host was great to work with. Overall wonderful experience. We highly recommend this house.

We were very happy to stay in this house. It is a cozy and comfortable place with beautiful nature around. The house had everything we needed for a pleasant stay — plenty of dishes, clean beds, and all the essentials. Everything was great, we really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this place.

Great place with great views lots to do! Loved the kayaks, jacuzzi, game room, and (great quality) basketball hoop outside. I think a few minor things could use attention (e.g., replace a couple pool sticks, ensure game room equipment is plugged in or has batteries, level shuffle-board, air-hockey puck upgrade). But overall great place that we'd love to stay at again!

The Regal is a beautiful home in a beautiful lakefront location on Lake Anna. My family was very happy with the lake views, onsite kayaks and onsite pontoon boat that we were able to rent for 5 days. The garage game room had 6 different activities which was enjoyed by all.The downsides were the lack of cleanliness of the property itself- not thoroughly cleaned between guest reservations, and the home is not well maintained- large back lakeview windows not cleaned, leaking faucets, loose toilet seats, stained rugs, sofas and kitchen seating, sticky kitchen floors, and food debris found on kitchen floors and between sofa cushions. I messaged the host and advised her bed linens had human and pet hair on the sheets as well as the lack of cleanliness of the entire home. She responded right away and linens were changed that night, but no cleaning crew was offered.Overall we had a great experience, but would have appreciated a professionally cleaned home and one that was better maintained inside. The exterior grounds and landscaping were very well maintained.
