Najd Al Meqsar Sharjah Retreat

We stayed at Najd Al Meqsar for two nights for a birthday celebration and had a really lovely stay. The setting is beautiful, with amazing views of the surrounding mountains, and the whole place feels calm and thoughtfully designed. What stood out most was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional and attentive, from reception and the restaurant team to housekeeping and the security guard. Our room was very tastefully designed, spotlessly clean and really comfortable. The bed was great, there was plenty of hot water in the shower, and we had our own outdoor seating area with mountain views. It was especially nice first thing in the morning and around sunset. The location is also very convenient for exploring the area. Parking was easy, and you can walk directly from the car park, under the main road, towards Al Rafisah Dam. The whole stay felt very well considered and well run. A lot of care has clearly gone into both the design and the guest experience, and we would happily come back.

Location is good.. Service was very helpful. Suggest having paper menus as well as code and pad. Breakfast menu was nice, but it would also be good to have some self service items such as bread rolls, croissants etc, and juice dispensers.

Coffee was not nice at breakfast. Suggest a higher quality is used. At night the lighting in the restaurant is too bright and not cosy or intimate. Better to dim the bright LEDs or only use the pendant lights. The window near the bathroom in needs a blind or curtain as the early morning sun shines in and lights the room. Ensure the water heater is switched in for guests arrival. Ours was not and the water was cold... so we had to wait half an hour to shower.
