Our group of 11 to 13 humans, ages 11 to 81, and 1 dog had a great time at this location for 6 days. The lake was nice for swimming, tubing, knee boarding, & fishing. The yard is large & we used the firepit several nights. The large deck with the grill & Blackstone was an excellent place for meals and for our annual family talent show. The dog enclosure was nice to have. Enough room for sleeping lots of people is always challenging. I can see how 15 people could fit if all the living room couches/pull out beds upstairs & down were used. We opted to bring a 6-person camper, with Ashley’s permission, so that we had more options. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, & the gas stove was great. The oversized washer & dryer were a plus. The property description states the property is not wheelchair accessible. I had assumed that pertained to the house. I would have appreciated knowing beforehand that there is actually a 74-step wooden stairway from the yard down to the lake/dock, and the dock & shorefront are not visible from the house or yard. I can see a stairway in the photos but did not think it was so steep as it is hidden in the trees. At ages 81 and 76, my husband and I managed just fine, and we were better off for the extra exercise at the end of the week, but it may not work for some. Overall, it was a memorable, happy summer week. Ashley was prompt, positive, and helpful in responding to any question/request over the 5 months between our reservation and our stay.

We had a great stay at Ashley's cabin. The location was beautiful and convenient to our son's graduation from Bates College. The cabin had everything we needed to be comfortable, make food, chat, and sleep soundly. We wished we had more time to explore the lake and surroundings. Maybe next time!

Excellent log cabin right on the water. Property owners were great to deal with. Will stay again.

Disappointed because the ceiling fans were filthy, layers of dust and idrt, couldn't use then for that reason. The standing fan in the upstairs bedroom was also quite dirty. The upstairs bathroom exhaust fan cover was very dirty. The window screens in the kitchen we so dirty that it was difficultto see out. What is the cleaning fee being used for, especially when the owner asks the guest to put the sheets in the washer and do light vacumming. This was not in the original information.
