Codes for the front and room doors and instructions were provided - all good. The room was a good size, small but comfortable bed, and small but well functioning bathroom. The kitchenette was adequate but with limited utensils. We used the washing machine and dryer which worked well. The Casa is in a very central location with easy walking to everything in the historic centre.

Noisy AC units nearby the unit door made for a noisy time, though the front door when closed did reduce noise levels. The bed is at the opposite side of the single room unit. Otherwise no other concerns.

Good location, quiet and safe and clean.

The location

Located in the middle of Casco Veijo within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and museums. Laundry facilities in the room. Rooftop patio. Room size. Kitchen amenities (in general - though we do wish there had been a toaster). WiFi signal (very good).

- Communication - Limited communication prior to day of arrival (we would have liked to get at least basic information about the check-in procedures and parking prior to that). - Incorrect Check-in Information - We were given a code to enter the building that did NOT work. - Entrance/Lobby Area - Horrible odor in this area. They try to mask the trash smell with vanilla scented oils that cut our breath. We honestly tried not to breath entering or exiting the building it was that bad. - Room Cleanliness - The room fell short in several areas: (a) Odor - It smelled of mildew due upon arrival as the A/C was off and there was no air circulation (housekeeping could have left it on low to at least circulate the air that morning). We found two (2) moisture traps under the couch (which means they know there is an odor issue). (b) Dirty Kitchen Items - Several kitchen items were dirty upon arrival (cutting board, cutlery, strainer). (c) Towels - We had to wash them due to their mildew odor prior to use. - Bathroom - While modern and pretty, it wasn't very functional due to the small size. The toilet paper kept falling off the holder and the vanity was very small. It would have been better for them to sacrifice some of the closet area (which is nearly as big as the bathroom) to increase its size. I'd also recommend the installation of a full length mirror in the room (all we had was the vanity mirror) - Noise - At times, we found the room noisy. Some sound proofing would help. (a) Elevator - Our room was located across/near the elevator, so we heard more noise than a room at the end of the hall would with other guests coming/going. (b) Traffic - Early in the morning (starting around 5:00 - 5:30 am) you hear trucks coming and going. - Ironing Board - A nice iron is provided but no ironing board.
