Garden Bungalows a Hidden Gem I like the attentive staff I like to clean rooms I like the big common area for the guest I love the greenery leading from that just into the between the cabins on the way back to the pool
I didn't like the fact that I reserved the room with the credit card and was not able to charge the room to the card but again I asked Mr Phillips and he said he will take care of this

The host didn’t speak any English, but let us store our luggage when checking out, and even store some food and water in the fridge
Pool was a little dirty. Had heaps of ash in it from burning season. No water refill

The elderly man at the reception, though he only spoke Chinese, was very kind to me and let me use the fridge in the reception area to store stuff and let me use his bicycle. He even gave me the key to the reception room so that I could access my stuff in the fridge in the morning before they opened up.
They only spoke Chinese (and this in in Laos!!). The room was a bit cramped, though I guess for the price that could have been expected. I expected some kitchen facilities as advertised, but they were very dirty. The pool area was very dusty, but there was some kind of itinerant carnival in an open area behind the hotel (near the swimming pool areas) during the first day I was there.
