Wow! What a beautiful place, and how expertly they staff welcomes you! We would definitely stay there again!
The room we booked was not accurately described. The was supposed to be two beds and a sofa bed, but there was only one bed and a sofa bed. I would have booked two rooms instead of sleeping on a sofa bed.

The staff were all fantastic, so welcoming and genuine. We loved staying here. The breakfast, especially the omeletes, was amazing up on the terrace. We would stay here again when next in Essaouira and I highly recommend this Riad.

We liked the friendliness of the staff, the excellent location, nice rooftop and very good breakfast!
We were first in a smaller room that smelled a bit damp, which was covered by strong rose scent and was dark with no windows. However, as a surprise, we were moved to a bigger room and that one was very nice!

"Riad Baber is perfectly located within the Essaouira medina, right next to the port. You can explore the entire city on foot. The host was very kind and helpful. The breakfast provided was excellent, rich, and of very high quality. They also offer dinner, which unfortunately we didn't have time to try, but it must be exceptional based on how it looked when served to another family. The room we stayed in was spacious, though nothing special in terms of decoration."
"The issues I noted were that the stairs leading to the upper floors and the terrace are very narrow and difficult for older guests or people with mobility issues. Additionally, there is a cooking smell from the kitchen that enters the room during the morning and evening hours."

"Sehr schönes Riad mitten in der Medina.
Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und haben bei jeder Frage weitergeholfen.
Auch das Frühstück war hervorragend.
Wir kommen gerne wieder."
