We really enjoyed our stay. Paulo was so helpful with recommendations for activities and restaurants. He picked us up from the airport and also arranged a car for us for the week. When we were leaving, we just dropped our car off and were shuttled to the airport free of charge. Paulo’s property is quiet and absolutely beautiful. You can walk down to chairs that are by a hot tub and look over the Atlantic Ocean. There is even a path to the beach. We loved our stay and will definitely be coming again.

We really enjoyed our time at Paulo's place. The property is well-maintained and peaceful (we had the garden view with flowers and birds). And the best part is the deck overlooking the ocean - complete with a hot tub. Each of the 4 'tiny houses' come with a private front porch / deck. The unit is simple and has everything you need: Storage and closet space Kitchenette Dining and living space combo Bed with built-in lights and storage Bathroom with shower Oscillating floor fan Privacy curtains WiFi The location is good, just a short drive in either direction for restaurants or groceries. Paulo offers laundry pickup and delivery during the week. Paulo's directions and suggestions for places to visit and things to do really helped. And he was easily available through WhatsApp to connect during the day. We would recommend his place and will stay there again.

It is also not possible to leave bags or access the grounds (which are large) until that time. This seems unnecessarily inflexible for those travelling overnight from North America. The only way around this is to book an extra night in advance of arriving, which feels punitive.

Our experience at this property could not have been better. From the well-appointed, extremely comfortable bungalows, to the gorgeous setting on a small peninsula jutting out into the ocean, It provided a soothing retreat after a day of taking in the island sights. Equally delightful was just spending time on the grounds, enjoying the surf, the hot tub, and beach. Added bonuses were the itinerary Paulo provided as a guide to the many beautiful places on the island, and his warmth and helpfulness thoughout our stay. We'd return again!

The Appartement was very clean, everything is almost new. You will live in the middle of the island which makes it very comdortable to discover the whole island. Paulo is an absolute outstanding house keeper who does everything to make your trip enjoyable. Definitely recommended 10/10

The best part about staying here was the property itself. A long expanse of Gardens and Lawn lead you to multiple sitting areas and a hot tub from which you could see ocean on three sides.

My partner and I had an amazing time here! The property is big and beautiful, with easy access to the natural pools. We also loved climbing on the big black volcanic rocks behind the property and exploring the tide pools. It’s in a perfect location in a cute little village on the north central coast of the island—close to the Caldeira Velha hot springs and the breathtaking Lagoa da Fogo. Paulo was such a gracious host, picking us up from the airport, getting us a discount on our rental car, and sitting down with us to help us plan an itinerary. Please be aware that there are 3 other bungalows on the property so it is only semi-private. There is also no air conditioning in the bungalows but we were cool at night with the windows open. Such a special place!

Our host Paulo far exceeded our expectations! Not only did he pick us up from the airport, but also arranged our car rental, dinner reservations, and even asked us what groceries we would like to have him buy for us ahead of time. Paulo spent a lot of time showing us around the property when we arrived and even sat down and explained all the different things and hikes to do around the island..He was exceptional! The property was off the charts beautiful too. I can’t say enough about our stay. Everything was top-notch! I have already recommended Paulo’s property to friends who plan on coming to Sao Miguel.

Paulo is very kind and goes above and beyond for his guests. The property is quite big and extends all the way down to the ocean and is adjacent to a public beach. As someone who found it challenging to build condensed itineraries for the island, I found it especially helpful that Paulo had pre-planned itineraries which he personally walked us through. Although I would say that renting an individual bungalow is ideal for couples/pairs, Paulo also owns a hostile in Ponta Delgada that we saw and it looked very nice for solo travelers!

Where do I even start? My husband and I spent the most incredible week at this property. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen the perfect place to stay. The property owner, Paulo, met us when we arrived with a few groceries, which was very appreciated after an overnight flight. He was a wealth of information and extraordinarily helpful. He’s put together a great folder of information about the area, suggested restaurants, even itineraries that are thoughtfully crafted to allow you to make the most of your time on Sao Miguel. The property itself is just amazing. If I could give it more than five stars, I would. Perched on a beautiful point with a beach below with natural pools that are perfect for swimming… even with 15 foot waves crashing on the rocks behind, the natural pools remain calm and wonderful. I would recommend wearing water shoes as the rocks can be a bit uncomfortable to walk on in bare feet. The accommodations are four square stand-alone studios, each with a small porch with table and chairs. They are just the coolest and very comfortable. Paulo thought of absolutely everything, from USB ports built into the bed frame for charging phones without the need for a plug adapter, to bench seating that can be turned into an additional sleeping space. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need, and everything was clean, comfortable and wonderful. The area is stunning. I mean Absolutely. Totally. Incredibly. Stunning. I just can’t say enough!

We’ve had a great 2-weeks family holiday staying in this beautiful and perfectly located house. We can highly recommend this place. What we particularly liked was the location (convenient for day trips all over the island and directly at the seaside), the unique garden with the jacuzzi overlooking the ocean, the well-equipped house and last not least Paulo’s hospitality. He was always quick to provide any advice we needed and is really taking care of his guests (including pick up from the airport and even our first grocery shopping to help us dealing with the COVID-19 related circumstances). We also appreciated the cleanliness of the house including cleaning service after one week. Thanks again Paulo and we hope to come back someday...

The ocean front view from this property is spectacular. Centrally located on the Northern side of the island on a quiet street, its the perfect stay for relaxation and exploring. Watching and listening to the waves crash against the shoreline provides a marvelous escape. The house is well furnished and the host, Paulo, is helpful and dedicated to making your stay outstanding. We would definitely return to this property

We rented a car from him, which was a good decision, as the GPS in the car made it very easy to get around. The house has a hot tub which looks over the ocean. This is a wonderful place to be at sunset. The kitchen was well equipped and made it easy for us to make some of our meals. There was plenty of hot water and comfortable beds.

Second stay for us summarizes how we feel about Azores Oasis. We love going to the shoreline each morning and afternoon and discovering the remainder of the island in between. Paulo is a gracious host and tries hard to please. We hope to return one day after the renovations Paulo has undertaken.

Paulo’s property was awesome. My family of 4 were picked up at the airport and brought to the house where breakfast was waiting on us. The house is in a very central location on the island which made everything so convenient. The ocean is a short walk out the back gate. It’s beautiful! The house has everything you would need and it was nice to use the washer and dryer after atv or horseback riding. There is a very nice new car available to rent with the house. It was so easy! I would recommend this house in the most beautiful island I have ever seen!
