There was nothing not to like

Lovely home baked soda bread, jam and butter left. Orange juice water and a range of breakfast cereals in cupboard. Really good to have the enclosed garden for the dog. Excellent meal at the pub

If you want to find a place where you can get away from the daily hustle, bustle and stress of everyday life, you have found it. Tucked away down a small country lane, The Cottage at Butchers Arms is an exceptional place to stay, The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need, is spotless, well stocked with the basic amenities, Tea, Coffee, Milk, Cereal, Home made bread and other basics. The surrounding countryside is quite, just the sound of the livestock on the next door farms, horses on the road. If you are into cycling, this is the perfect place to be, good network of roads, all quite, good hills and miles of comfortable riding. Within 20 mins you have access to all the big supermarkets, or you can pop down the road to the small village of Staunton to the local store. Highly recommended, and will be certainly be visiting again.

Unfortunately, the property was not cleaned efficiently. It was absolutely covered in spiders with spiders in the bed! When I woke up I had been bitten in the night, If more effort went into the cleaning this would not be an issue. No efficient curtain on the door it was just a blanket thrown over so the living room was not private. We spent 40 minutes hoovering the property when we initially arrived to get rid of as many spiders/bugs as we could which was not enjoyable considering the price we paid.
