If you are after an off-grid experience, but still close to facilities, then The Barn is the perfect place to escape to and enjoy the serenity and quiet in a delightful studio "at the bottom of the garden". Open paddocks on two sides and lovely garden views out of the big windows. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, nice hot shower, and farm fresh eggs provided for brekky. Outside in a sheltered courtyard is a chimney, ready to light to enjoy the quiet of the evening, relaxing with nibbles (the Cheese Platter with local produce was very nice) and a glass or two. I would probably suggest just for couples, not children, so your night or nights away stay relaxing. Only 15 minutes from Lakes Entrance for meals, or use microwave and stove provided for simple meals. We loved it. Although we didn't meet our hosts, they were available by phone if needed, and communication with them before arriving was great about finding the key.

Very cute little barn at the back of the property. The interior was cosy and well decorated and perfect for what we needed. It was very private. Bed was super comfy! And lovely breakfast foods provided, thank you.

The blinds unfortunately did not provide privacy in the night time as they can be seen through. Although it is in a private area of the backyard, it would be nice to have the option of full blinds. Also the shower head needed fixing as it wouldn’t stay upright so hopefully this will be tended to :)

very cozy Barn tucked away at the rear of the property.

The barn is small and cute and is well portrayed in the photos on the website. We needed to break our journey home to Melbourne from Canberra and didn't want to go to Lakes Entrance again and so this was a good alternative. Unfortunately it was raining hard all the time we were there and it's not the best place to be in torrential rain. The gardens look lovely and better weather would have provided a very pretty vista and even a sit outside in the greenery. Sadly not for us.

As I said it was raining hard and where we were allocated parking was not close to the Barn and so we had to traipse back and forwards to our car to deliver our stuff to the house, resulting in us getting very wet and grumpy. This was further rubbed in once it was dark (and raining) as there is NO lighting outside and no torch and so forgotten items in the car had to remain there. Breakfast was provided due to our Genius status but we had used the only 2 coffee pods provided when we arrived wet the night before...this is a bit stingy.
