Lovely people and great location. Really quiet

Breakfast was lovely, cooked fresh and to order. The very best thing about this property are the hosts, friendly , warm and very interesting people. It felt like we had known them for years. We also had a delicious evening meal, which was excellent.

We stayed at the peat cutter's croft recently and had a marvellous time. The setting is beautiful, a little remote, but that's very much part of its rustic charm, with lovely views over the water. The house itself is full of character. We received a very warm welcome from the hosts, Seori and Pauline, and enjoyed a delicious home-cooked three-course evening meal using all local produce. They were perfect hosts, brilliant company and fantastic food. The facilities in the home had everything we needed, and it was all very comfortable and warm throughout our stay. If you're looking for a beige, modern hotel, this is not your spot, but if you want to get away from it all in a place full of character, it's perfect. We'd recommend it to anyone who wants a lovely, homely stay.

Having to leave!

The peace and tranquility

Maybe somewhere nicer to sit outside? A few seats in the field looking over to the mountains and views would be great
