We got a junior suite which was located in the Clayton building. It was clean and comfortable. Not extravagant, but nice. We did open the couch bed for my kids and the cover was dirty and there were no blankets or pillows. The front desk had someone to our room within about 20 minutes to put a brand new mattress cover on and give us blankets, and the housekeeper was very sweet. I wish the room had a microwave; we had two fridges with a wet bar, but no microwave.
The gym was pretty big and nice and had a sauna. The breakfast was worth the add on price of $10 per person, per night. If they offer the apple dumplings while you are there we highly recommend you have one. The bar and restaurant was really good and decently priced, we had lunch there one day. I wish the pool had been heated. Unfortunately, all the ice machines remotely near my room were broken. I think I tried 4 different ones. The banquet manager saw me in the hall and got me a bucket of ice, though. I forgot her name but she had a French accent and was very kind and helpful.
Overall, I have no regrets about staying here and would stay again.

Loved this hotel. Beautiful property, with amazing architecture. Room was very clean and nice. Also, it is very close to, and easy to get to, all parts of STL. Definitely recommend staying here!
