The air conditioning was next to useless. We thought that getting a hotel would be a break from the hostels and useless air-conditioning around Italy. That was not the case. The air conditioning was awful and while they said it existed and I believe them that it existed, it did nothing and we were still very hot trying to sleep. The rest of the property was beautiful and the staff were wonderful. But the air-conditioning was useless.
