Everything was fine!

Older building but well maintained. We had stayed here previously a few years ago and it seems much nicer now! I am a breakfast person and the breakfast here is EXCELLENT! I will come back and stay here just for the breakfast when I'm in Richmond. This trip was for my son's swim meet, important to have a bathtub, not just a shower, and older facilities usually have tubs (thank goodness).
My only trivial complaint is that the air conditioning unit, while it worked just fine for being older, it was kinda loud (white noise?). And the hardwood floor tiles seemed a little/slightly damp (not slick or dangerous or gross, just odd). It would not stop me from staying here again.

The front desk lady was amazing! Very personable and helpful. The property was well maintained and the room was very nice. The bed was comfortable and they even had a tub. Most places have gotten rid of those. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
