Nice place

We were passing through Eureka on our way to the Avenue of the Giants in the Redwood National and State Parks. We did not expect the Clarion hotel in this small city to rival a 5 stars hotel of a major city. The staff were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean, everything were in proper working order, and the anemities were second to none. We were impressed and appreciative of such pleasant and comfortable place. If there’s anything that could be improved, then I would say the free breakfast could use a bit of protein such as ham, bacon, or sausages. Other than that, we really liked our stay there.

rooms, towels and sheets were clean. staff was very helpful and friendly. ice maker was broken, workout room equipment needs some help- treadmill was stuck at an incline and the bikes were not easy to not able to be adjusted. breakfast was subpar, eggs were terrible (maybe it was just our luck that day) and less variety than you would think for a place like this, however they did have a make your own waffle option which is great for the kids.
good enough for what you paid for overall though.

Nice clean hotel with gated entrance. The lady at check in was very friendly and made you feel welcome. Our room was clean, convenient and bed was comfy. I went offsite to do laundry (it was available at hotel but someone else was using it) and I noticed there seem to be several homeless in the area. I felt very safe at this hotel knowing the gates were an extra layer of security against break-ins.
