Close to everything! Older hotel but great amenities and views!

The location is excellent. The room was spacious. The kitchenette well stocked.
The breakfast could’ve had more choices.
But.. the location made up for it!

The staircases at the south end of the property near the office & breakfast room are in bad shape. They need replacing or at least sand blasting, repair & paint. I’m older and need to use the railing and didn’t like the stickyness of them on both staircases especially going in for breakfast.
The room was very clean and attended to daily.
Breakfast area was ok. Needed some hot food, eggs & bacon or sausage.
Staff was very helpful.

Very interesting and charming place. Full of cool architectural history. Amenities were good. Staff very friendly. The place has a retro charm you rarely find anywhere anymore. That said, the room & facility could use a little updating as far as basic upkeep. The elevator was out of order and it seems like they were doing some work on the place so that's a positive. Just needs a little polishing but, overall, a gem. Would stay there again!
