The room was always clean

The staff was very friendly, from the check-in team to room service. The hotel offers a wide range of services and amenities, including multiple pools for both adults and children, a golf course, and a nearby beach. The food was delicious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We loved the hotel.

Everything and everyone was absolutely amazing! Hotel administration and staff, from the entrance to the restaurants and specialty shop and activities. We will definitely come back to Las Americas again!!

It was a rather unfortunate experience compared with the high expectations you may have of a hotel like Las Americas. It is rated as one of the top hotels in Cartagena both for business and families vacation, however for the high price -almost as expensive as Torre Del Mar rooms-, the Casa de Playa rooms are really low maintenance and old style. The rooms don’t even have a smart tv where you can stream any of the World Cup matches, not aired on public national TV or simply watch a movie or series on your favorite platform. Although the advertised 5 excellent restaurants with Mon to Sun opening hours, it was a shame to find 2 of them closed for no-reason, except for the always open Meson don Cristobal and the 2-Michelin stars, Erre, that by the way, is a really amazing option, tasty and delicious food and great service for the price (really high $$$), except for the unfortunate experience that night of a Wagyu Picaña dish, that definitely wasn’t neither wagyu nor picanha, as it was hard like a shoe sole for a medium cooked steak.
Regarding the gym and spa, didn’t have the chance to use them as they were on maintenance some of the days of our stay.
Finally, I hope they consider to reduce the “pasadia” option as it makes common areas, restaurant and beach experience for guests, a nightmare due to the amount of people going around the hotel, making difficult to even find a table to sit and have lunch. It was an overall fair experience with a lot of room for improvement
