Very friendly and helpful staff. Has everything you could possibly want; clean rooms, gas bar, restaurant, gift shop, ice cream and complimentary coffee and warm apple fritters in the morning!

Location, cleanliness and extremely friendly and helpful staff. I had never booked at a highway motel, let alone one connected to a gas station so I was a little worried - but ended up loving my stay and wishing I could have stayed another night to enjoy the lake! The room has rustic cabin like design, and the beds were comfortable. The one issue I saw is that the bathroom had visible water damage and a bit of rust on the curtain rod in some places. I suspect had a lot to do with poor ventilation, but everything was clean and the water temperature and pressure were great, and that’s what mattered to us. There is a restaurant onsite as well as a gift shop. Great little spot overall. If you’re travelling down the 17, I definitely recommend it.

Very clean. Very nice staff. Our room could have used a lamp near the 2 chairs. And a mat at the door, to remove sand from our shoes.
The morning apple fritter and coffee was delicious
