I Segreti della Valle

I Segreti della Valle is a fantastic B&B in Agrigento. Don't let the approach, which is a bit rough, put you off. It is conveniently located to the Valle del Templi. The room is attractive, nice, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It had a large balcony/deck overlooking the Valle with the Temple of Concordia and others visible. One of the best things about this place is the hostess, Barbara, who was incredibly welcoming, gracious and makes a killer breakfast. Highly recommended. Barbara recommended Il Re di Girgenti for dinner; we reserved a table on the deck overlooking the Valle and enjoyed the lighting of the Templi - also recommended.

An exceptional B&B. The owner's pride and passion is reflected in every detail. She was also very accommodating for our early arrival. The property is a convenient 15 minute walk to the Valley of the Temples. Although there were only a handful of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, we loved the two right on the same corner as the B&B. One was a little mom and pop local place with fantastic 'old school' food and a local vibe. The other was a more modern place with a well thought out menu which offered both traditional and creative approaches to Sicilian cuisine. Both were excellent. I would gladly stay here again.

More accurate description of each room is needed. Nobody wants to end up in a room with a window to nowhere.

Parking was just outside hotel. Breakfast was very nice. Suggest telling travelers that the parking and entrance to the hotel is from the side street.
