Great breakfast, great location, great staff!
Though big kudos to the front desk agents, the check-in process/tools made it surprisingly slow, with a lot of very unhappy guests in the lobby waiting to get to their room keys. This can be much faster by allowing online check-in ahead of the arrival (as many other hotels do), as well as allow code (or cell phone) room door keys (as a few hotels now do). I didn't help that a few of the guests were asking for Valencia/tourist information that is available online (especially google maps), but the check-in staff very patiently helped these guests.
Another surprise was that the room did not have a safe box. This has been a hotelier common practice for long enough to be expected.

Nice basic hotel with the added bonus of a pool. Room was clean, excellent freezing air-con, bathroom shower pressure very low so not user friendly. Breakfast basic but sufficient choice. Staff polite, friendly and efficient. Generally very good if a little overpriced for what it is.
