City Partner Hotel Holländer Hof

Very clean and historic hotel in a great location to all the sites and attractions in the area. Very helpful English speaking staff. Parking is challenging if serving by car. Various underground car parks are tricky to find and not always available for the hotel discounted rate.

We enjoyed the location on the edge ofd the Old Town area and directly across from the old bridge. Heidelberg's Old Town has a myriad of restaurants and the options are plentiful. We enjoyed a delightful meal at an old brewery that was within easy walking distance of the hotel. Also, we arrived at the Central bahnhof and were able to easily take a bus to and from the station. The Hotel had sizable rooms and although the noise from late night revelers could have detracted, they were not late noisemakers and we had good restful sleep.

Extremely helpful and courteous staff. We had a beautiful room with a view of the bridge. Room was very clean. Only thing I was not a fan of, was having to step into the bathtub to take a shower. A walk in shower would be very nice.

Fantastic place to stay in Heidelberg! On the river, restaurants, shops and the castle all within walking distance. Hotel is older but has charm and history. It is not The Hilton or Marriott- in my opinion, it is better. Breakfast buffet was authentic German breakfast. Will be staying here again.
