Rooms were very clean and didn't smell of masking fragrance or laundry fragrance, which I dislike. Mini-fridge in room had a broken door was oddly front heavy and a little leaky. Despite heavy humidity in the outside air and condensation humidity from the AC the room didn't have a mildew smell, but had kind of that cold, older AC humidity smell. For our stay the elevator was broken, but it sounded like they had it fixed by the morning. Breakfast was fine and staff was available even for our very late (midnight) check-in.

Breakfast was good pretty good selection. The staff was not that friendly. There were some clothes left in the nightstand so gather what you will about cleanliness. The elevator was a little shaky. But there is only 3 floors so there is always the stairs. The bedspread had rips with the filling showing.

Convenient location, a short drive to retail stores and downtown Ashland. Well maintained property. Spacious rooms, recently refurbished, clean and comfortable.
