Location

Loved the historic building and beautiful antique furnishings/ artwork. No traditional lobby area; had to check in at one hotel's very small entry area, and wait for a staff person to walk with us the 3 min walk to our hotel and take us upstairs in the very small elevator. A bit complicated , but fine once we figured it all out. We were on a lovely narrow historic cobblestone street with shops and restaurants, 2 minute walk to Piazza Navona . A bit noisy in the evening from people on the street, but quiet by midnight. Room was spacious, had a mini fridge, decent bathroom, and plenty of room to hang clothing. Did not have typical hotel conveniences of a coffee maker or microwave for my evening tea and morning coffee - but the location and historical furnishings made up for it. Lovely place for Cappuccino, fresh squeezed orange juice, and pastries was a 1-2 minute walk away.

We were disappointed from the start with this hotel. The cab driver was not able to find the location. Once we got to our room the decor looked like a brothel. My children were in a 4 person room, even the staff said was unpleasant. Pictures of half naked women covered the walls and the door had five types of bolts to open the door. Our room was slightly better. I will say the location was to some degree good since it is walking distance to Plazza Navona and other attractions a traveler must see. I will say be prepared to be disappointed in this hotel if you stay there
