The photos do not do it justice. This house is immaculate! I love the smell of new construction. Every room was nicely done, super clean, full amenities, everything you'd need to be comfortable. An easy 8-10 min walk from the train station even with rolling our carry on luggage. The 7-11 store is about a 3 min walk. There are about 2-3 bus stops very close to the house depending on which route you're heading to. This was a good base to stay for the Hakone loop. We walked to the Open Air Museum and it's a 3-4 min walk. Slippers provided in every room and we enjoyed cooking in the big kitchen. Plenty of towels, toothbrushes provided too. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Hakone and will recommend to our friends. Beautiful house- book it! You'll love it!

We loved this accommodation! I was sad to only have stayed one night. There is a 7-11 we walked to for food and snacks, a bus stop we walked to for transport for sightseeing and a nice view of the mountains from the dining room. During our trip we went to onsens and shrines. At the Stagione we enjoyed the heated water for the bath and showers. There is one bathtub and two showers. There are two toilets. I thought having a blow dryer and also a small hair straightener was a kind thoughtfulness. My children enjoyed the tatami mat room for relaxing at night with the tv there. The kitchen table was a nice size for my family of 5, they had plates cups utensils for kids. The kitchen had other amenities we didn’t get a chance to use, but you can tell the hosts were very thoughtful. We had to learn how to turn the hot water feature on. The scented body wash and shampoos were lovely. Would stay again!

This was an amazing option to stay at for two nights. We could drop our bags, do the Hakone Gora loop clockwise with a bus stop 1 min from the door, with delicious sushi and a convenience store nearby too (for breakfeast options). Having the the Open Air Museum and a train stop nearby was perfect. The place itself was tidy, warm, had all the essentials we needed, plus a generously sized bathtub (with TV) to relax after completing the loop. The views were beautiful too.

We were very pleased with this choice, as it provided enough room for our family of three, was within a very short distance of a grocery store, brewery bar and bus stop for local sights. The property was clean and modern throughout and peaceful. The owner answered questions quickly and helpfully, although nearly always in Japanese which means you will have to translate the messages. All of the info needed is provided though and in a very friendly manner.
