Great location near the central station and the main Amsterdam tourist area. Good facilities for the price.

My room had no view other than the side of a derelict building, BUT I started with the ONLY criticism I have for this hotel. It's a basic but clean, tidy place with comfortable rooms, very helpful front desk staff and a location that can't be beaten. When I next return to Amsterdam, I will not be looking beyond this place to stay. Sadly I checked out too early for the excellent buffet breakfast, but I guess I should've asked them to shovel some scrambled eggs into my pocket as a doggy bag.
