Beautiful upscale historic property in a nice commercial neighbourhood of Johannesburg. Unfortunately my stay there was brief because I was on a stop-over from Kruger National Park on the way to Victoria Falls.

The staff were very helpful and professional. The building is a great historic building, yet has all the modern comforts. Very nice grounds and out door sitting area.

This is an extremely beautiful property. The lawns and garden, with the huge trees and birds, are so peaceful to spend time in during the evening, sitting on the bench overlooking the parks. The staff were extremely friendly. I would like to make a special mention of Chef K, who went out of his way to make a lovely vegetarian meal for me every night. Awesome, staff are friendly and always helpful. Another wonderful guy is Chef KG. Appreciate the ambience of this old-world building with rich wood furniture and a very stately feeling
