Motel 6 Grand Junction, CO

The property is very close to the airport. This was especially convenient for me because flight delays had me arriving after the rental car counter was closed. I was able to check in around midnight, get a decent night's rest and then walk back to the airport in the am to pick up my rental car to continue with my travels. The areas of the establishment i was in were all impressively clean. Its a motel 6 so my expectations weren't very high but it gave the impression that the place was cared for. I had just come from a different motel 6 in Oregon and the differences were night and day. The two staff I interacted with were professional and helpful. One had to deal with a problematic guest at midnight and I appreciated that the policies were upheld to ensure the other guests were not disturbed. The airport conditioning was a bit odd. They had an in room unit. It was understandably off when I arrived to the room so the room was a little stuffy. Once I got it up and running it was great through the night. The bed was not comfortable. It worked for a night but it would have been tough to fall asleep if I wasn't so exhausted. Overall, very pleased and impressed. I would stay again if the need arose.

Convenient location and always affordable with clean rooms, thanks again!
