The room was lovely and the staff was very polite and friendly,

The hotel itself is in a good location and staff friendly and helpful but the aircon is broken constantly and when asked (as many other guests did too) the reply from staff was that it’s just temporarily broken down. However they did reply later to other guest suggesting it will be likely repaired in September) yeah when the weather cools down. The lobby is air conditioned but the room upstairs all of them are incredibly uncomfortably hot.
It’s strange because in summer many other Holidays Inn hotels have the same issues but in winter it’s the heating which is broken. Also rooms coincidentally have a fan and small heater available too as though this is the long term solution.
Anyway it’s not a bad hotel and I don’t blame the staff for the poor management cost savings on these somewhat pricey places to stay.
