It was quiet, clean and close to downtown. The price was very reasonable. The staff was very nice and professional. I would stay here again.

No frills but great place. The reviews seemed to point towards this, so I was willing to give it a try and I wasn't disappointing at all. I'm not too picky, but I've been in many hotels that look nice on paper, but in reality are in disrepair and dirty. This is not that. This looks mediocre on paper simply because the bedding, curtains, etc, look a bit dated, but when you get in the room, it is great. The rooms are clean with no funky smells.
I don't know if this is true, but it seems like being a small independent place, there is pride of ownership that you don't always see in the big corporation establishments.
It's also right next to a great little community water park and playground for kids to play at.
