Discovery Inn

Small little place but dont be fooled from the outside. The rooms are nice and clean and the people at the desk are helpful. We forgot our phone in the room and they let us in without any fuss

I rarely leave reviews, and after more than 40 years in hospitality, I tend to notice details most guests may not. That’s exactly why I felt this property deserved recognition. My stay at Discovery Inn exceeded my expectations. The property was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and comfortable. What stood out most was how safe and cared for I felt. The staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive, making sure my needs were met without hesitation. In an industry where customer service can feel like an afterthought, Discovery Inn gets the basics right—cleanliness, comfort, safety, and genuine respect for guests. If you’re looking for an affordable, well-run hotel in the Hayward area, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Discovery Inn. They earned this review, and that’s something I don’t say often.

Soundproof walls

I stayed at the Discovery Inn for 4 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The room was super clean, housekeeping came by every morning and asked if we needed anything, and the office manager was very helpful and even matched the app price when I needed to extend another night. This is a smaller hotel but it’s very well maintained and comfortable. I would definitely book here again.
