This is Carlisle’s premier hotel and it is always a joy to stay here. Everything has been thoughtfully considered, from the spacious and comfortable rooms to the excellent facilities.
What really sets the hotel apart, however, is the staff. They are consistently warm, professional, and helpful, making every stay feel welcoming and effortless.
I genuinely can’t fault it and always look forward to returning.

Pleasant staff. Nice to have a kitchen. Breakfast was delicious, and inexpensive. Location was convenient to the train station.

Really lovely staff, incredible rooms with so much space. It's right in the centre but has a car park next to it too. Can't fault it really.

The Halston was a very pleasant surprise. The staff were super helpful and the room was spacious in a way that we had not seen in England or Scotland. We particularly appreciated the efforts of Jeanette, Charlotte, and Ellie. Each went above and beyond!
