Perhaps a little long in the tooth, but I don't mind the classic 1960s era. I prefer this to a cookie cutter motel without character. The Wye had what I needed, and at an affordable rate. Very satisfied and front desk was very nice and helpful. I wouldn't have the slightest hesitation about staying here again if I'm passing the Altoona area.

This was a very reasonable rate and location was a hit. Near everything from fast food to sit down restaurant. Convenient store across the street. Grocery store behind. Air conditioner worked very well.

I booked this room last minute after driving all night and being unable to stay at the first hotel I booked due to cockroaches there. I called WYE and they let me check into my room early to shower and sleep. The owners are so kind and helpful, the facility is very clean and well-kept, and I will definitely be staying here again if I’m in the area!

Large clean room. The staff was very helpful. I could not figure out how to use the tv, and he immediately came to the room and fixed the problem.
