We absolutely loved this place
From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly..helping us to book our shinkansen ticket online while we waited for check in. We had a welcome ceremony on arrival and daily the would make our beds or put them away. We also got to experience a traditional japanese breakfast which was so amazing and probably my biggest highlight.

Friendliest staff. Genuinely felt they wanted us to have a great experience.
Traditional Japanese breakfast was a unique must do experience.

Staffs were very nice. Luggage storage was very convenient. Public bath was clean and refreshing. Recommended Ryokan for proximity to Nishiki market and Kyoto city center.
