Maintenance of door locks should be scheduled periodically. I stayed in room
406 and had to come down to front desk and get my key cards reprogrammed. I understand things happened so I didn’t think it would be a problem but the next day I went for breakfast and upon returning to my room key cards did not work. Went back down to front desk and asked the manager to check lock because the night before I had the same problem. He refused to come and check with me and reprogrammed the key cards. I went back and the keys did not work so again I made a trip back to the front desk. This time the manager came up to the room with me only to see that there was a problem with the lock. It would not be such an inconvenience but I had my disabled mother with me and it was very inconvenient to bring her back and forth with me.

The manager was really helpful when our keys were giving us trouble. They wouldn't work when the keys were recoded. We were quickly given a new room.

I stay here every time I come to Albany because the staff are so friendly and helpful. It’s the little things- moving things around to put my rooms together even though I forgot to ask ahead of time, keeping the breakfast area stocked and clean, putting a luggage cart outside of my room for my early flight. Sure, things are a little old and could use a renovation, but it’s clean and the property is well cared for.
****The hot tub has been out of service all Spring 2026.
