A great little hotel to explore Bergamo from - excellent choice & ticked all my boxes!
Staff were lovely & gave me a quiet room, as requested. Location is good, 15 minutes on foot from train & bus stations and same to the centre of the lower city. I bought a 24 hour city transit pass (that also takes you to & from the airport - unheard of in many countries) to get up to the beautiful Citta Alta. It costs €4.90 & includes the 2 funiculars, a great bargain, particularly in 38C when climbing the hills loses its appeal.
The breakfast is excellent and the rooms, more traditional in design and not brand new but well maintained, are cozy and comfortable. Definitely return!!

Better than expected, good staff, a bit worn in many places but still very servicable - probably quite plush in an earlier time. Brilliant breakfast makes it a winner.
