I loved the balcony view. I will admit: it took me several attempts to get the balcony door open to actually enjoy the balcony itself, but I was determined to sit with my cup of tea out there and watch the water.

The staff where very friendly and attentive, food was excellent, the bed was comfortable. The shower was good . My only complaint would be the tea and coffee was cold and toast was served 10 minutes before the cooked breakfast was served. The breakfast itself was hot and good quality. We would definitely go back .

I just needed a quiet, comfortable room for the night and didn't want to pay ridiculous Edinburgh prices. This hotel delivered on both fronts, and I got a good night's sleep in a big comfy bed with a lovely view out of the window. The guy on reception couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.
