This is a clean, comfortable boutique hotel perfectly placed in London. It is near Marble Arch, and you can get everywhere with public transportation. It is well worth including breakfast when you book. The breakfast bar had a great selection of foods, and the price was excellent; breakfast anywhere else in London would cost you way more. There is a pleasant sitting lounge on the ground floor. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby, and if you are there for a while and need to do laundry, there are two laundromats close by.

Tile in Bathroom broken with sharp edges, dangerous could cut feet. Extremely small shower not easy for an82 year old. The first night was extremely cold and night desk manager did not tell us how to use the covered old water radiator when we called down to ask for portable heater. We were only told the next morning.

We had a great stay at The Sumner. The breakfasts were good and convenient and the staff was very helpful, calling cabs when we needed them, carrying luggage, getting reservations for us for meals, etc. It's also in a convenient location in London.
