Wonderful place to stay! Very kind staff, convenient location and cozy, quiet place. The only downside was no cooking equipment for the room and the walls were very thin, so you hear noise pretty easily from inside the building.

This place is a bit different to the chain hotels that I usually stay in, but in a good way. I stayed in a 'Japanese style' room, which was very spacious with a comfortable futon. The bathroom was a 'wet room' style, with a deep bath and a shower area next to it, onsen-style. The kitchen area has a single induction hob, which is really just to use with the kettle so don't plan on doing any cooking (I wasn't planning on it, so no problem there). Note that it is a shoes-off property - slippers are supplied at reception.
I really liked this stay and will definitely look it up again if I come back to Matsuyama.

no elevator need to move the luggage to 2/F floor.

Like this hotel! Close to Dogo onsen which was nice. Dogo koen is also 10/10... Maybe a bit far from the central station and nightlife though.
