Be sure to contact the Microtel in Kirkland Lake directly. Don't bother booking through Expedia. We booked 3 rooms. Non of them were refundable. We booked one of the rooms for 2 nights. We THOUGHT we were on the Wyndam site booking directly however bots and scammers pose as the actual site. We ended up booking through a scam site that charged us outrageous booking fees that weren't listed up front and the room was non refunable.
Avoid the hassle. Pick up the phone, call the ACTUAL hotel, speak with the front desk staff, not a booking agency and deal with the hotel directly.
Online booking sites are NOT worth the money. Turns out it would have been less expensive to book directly with the front desk than it would have been to book with EXPEDIA
