We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay.

We were initially very tensed as we are going to Europe for first time. Communicated with the owners (Karen & George), they were very friendly and eased our anxiety. Karen met us after we checked-in and she was very friendly and helpful. My wife and daughter liked the glamping area very much, its safe. I highly recommend if you are planning for a trip to Loch Ness and need a small private atmosphere.

This place was very lovely. Very quiet and private. Super clean and the owner communicated very well over message. The only downside was that the website did not state you have to pay extra for pillows, bed sheets, and towels. For travelers that don’t bring this stuff be prepared to pay extra on top of the cost. Other than that the place was very nice. Wi-Fi only works outside the pod too unless you are staying in one of the closer pods like pod 1 or 2.
