Travelodge PLUS Dublin City Centre

The breakfast selection is very good for the price and you always find something to eat,no matter what you're craving that day. The hotel is also perfectly located in the sense of walking distance to the Trinity College and the shopping district around it, as well as some museums and parks. There's a Tesco Express just around the corner so whether you're just leaving or coming back, you can always get food or drink for the next day/your journey that day. The hotel is in such a good location - 10 mins walk from Temple Bar area and Grafton Street is similar. 2 mins walk from the River. There is a bus stop close by for the airport and also the hop on hop off buses are only a 5 min walk away too. plenty of Dublin bikes close by too. The bar is really nice to have downstairs while waiting for the rest of our party. restaurant was great for breakfast - good value buffet breakfast. Rooms were slightly smaller than I'd like, however no problem at all given we were only using hand luggage. If you had big cases, you may struggle more. The coffee machine in the room was a nice addition though! Air conditioning also brilliant! Would definitely stay here again.

Small rooms but clean and great staff

Great location, with Temple Bar, Trinity College, Camden St., and Grafton St. all within about a 10–15 minute walk. It’s also only a 4-minute walk from the Dublin Express station, which is super convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The room was on the smaller side but clean and comfortable. The main downside was that the hallways had an odor, felt quite dark, and looked a bit dated, and the elevators could use an upgrade as well. Overall, a convenient and reasonably comfortable place to stay for exploring Dublin.
