Such a brilliant place to stay in Helsinki. Brilliantly located, historic and interesting building and the provision of dinner made it perfect for travelling with kids. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and always helpful.

Tram stop is right outside hotel and is 10-15 mins ride to central station (less to City Centre and market square)
Hotel and rooms very clean and all staff encountered (reception and restaurant) very friendly
Slept well every night, despite the trams running early in the morning. Rooms are well maintained, only issue is with the bath being very deep so not the easiest to get in and out of - if this would be an issue I would request a shower room instead.
Breakfast is a lovely spread, hot and cold options and pastries, juices, coffee, smoothies
Evening meal not to same level - a soup option, plenty of salads and breads but only 1 main course and no desserts. Has to be said though that all the food was excellent quality and is constantly replenished. For the evening main course, check the board near reception, the QR code on the tv leads to a menu that hadn't been updated.
Overall very happy and would definitely return

The great things about this hotel are excellent location, interesting history, and the included breakfast and dinner, which made it so easy to come back after a day of sight-seeing and settle in for a nice meal. They even prepared something for the first day we arrived, when it was too late to make dinner, and we were able to eat in our room. Our room was lovely, large, and comfortable. We would certainly stay again, and I must say the morning bacon was excellent. I am a GF eater and had no problem. Thank you!
