A great budget-friendly option — the hotel is a bit old but very clean. Conveniently located near the hot spring and several restaurants. One thing to note: the cottages are a separate facility from the main hotel, so guests staying in the cottages cannot dine in the hotel’s restaurant. This should be made clearer.

Awesome cottage. Great bathhouse.
Swim in the river if you get a chance.
Walk to hot springs.
All free.

Cabin accommodation . Basic but everything you need , Friendly staff and very chilled. Large Onsen just over the suspension bridge or use the one at the cabins included in your stay .
Great place to stay along your route
