Excellent for proximity to train station. <30 min walk to center or uni. Very friendly and helpful guys at front desk. Has Indian-Nepali restaurant/bar attached, but I didn't tty it. Clean and comfortable room. Only negative was dilapidated light well 'view.' Preferred to close curtains and pretend there was no window.

The receptionist mister was extremely nice. Also the breakfast is very good for the overall price of the hotel. Good choice

Ghent is a lovely city & this hotel is a more than decent base from which to explore it.
The hotel is quite small but benefits from an attached restaurant at which you can get a 5% guest discount. The restaurant is Indian fusion and really quite good, in my experience. There is also a small but well stocked supermarket a couple of doors away as well as other restaurants including an interesting & very reasonably priced Turkish-style place
The hotel is just outside the main train station with buses & tram stops too. The trams being so close can make the front rooms of the hotel a little noisy but it's a small price to pay for the convenience of the location, in my opinion. Ask for a room at the back if you are a light sleeper!
My room was very comfortable - lovely big bed - and spotlessly clean. It is an older property and a little tired in places but I think the cleanliness more than overcomes that.
During my stay (over Easter), the front area outside the hotel was being dug up so access was not perfect. The hotel appologised for this, though.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
